Side Effects of Testoviron
Testoviron is a pretty decent steroid with an active half life which can last up to 21 days. This steroid is quite effective as it gives the user quality muscle mass and strength and weight gain in a relatively short period of time. Testoviron is actually a combination of a long and a short half life ester and so remains effective in the body for a pretty decent interval. The user of testoviron does not have to inject the steroid daily. A weekly dose is all that is needed.
Recommended Dosage
The recommended dosage of testoviron for leisure users is 250 to 500 mgs per week. Serious male body builders however require a much higher dose ranging between 800 to 1200 mgs per week. Women body builders require a milder dose between 50 to 100 mgs per week. Testoviron should be used for a period of 8 to 20 weeks. Testoviron is an ideal steroid as long as the user sticks to the recommended dosage and time period. Serious side effects some of which can be irreversible occur when the user exceeds the dose or uses it for too long.
Serious Side Effects
Testoviron causes high blood pressure and this is the most serious side effect of testoviron. The user should consult a doctor if the blood pressure shoots up otherwise cardiac complications can occur. There are chances of cardiac failure as well.
Other serious side effect of testoviron is its ability to aromatize readily. Aromatization can lead to multiple problems such as gynocomastia and water retention. Aromatization is the process in which the testosterones in the body convert to the female sex hormone estrogen. Estrogen binds with the breast tissues and gets attached there. This leads to the abnormal enlargement of breasts in male which is rather embarrassing. Water retention is another problem associated with aromatization as it causes the fluid to gather beneath the skin and make the muscles look puff instead of ripped.
Another side effect of testoviron in men is that the body stops producing testosterones naturally. Testosterone the male sex hormone is produced in the body; when the testosterone enters the body through steroids, the body slows down its own production to limit the number of testosterones produced by the body. Problem arises when the body stops producing testosterones and the user stops injecting them.
Women users of testoviron experience Virilization if they exceed the dose or take testoviron for a long time. In virilization, the women develop masculine traits such as a deep hoarse voice, facial hair and hair on other parts of the body. Their breasts shrink while clitoris enlarges. Irrgeular menstruation or cessation of menstruation may also occur with the prolong use of this steroid.
Testoviron may attack the liver as well but this rarely occurs or only occurs when a very high dose of testoviron is taken. Oily skin, steroid acne and male pattern baldness are some other side effects of testoviron. Males who have a history of male pattern baldness are advised to stay away from it. Increased aggression is also a problem with this steroid.
